In Italy, the second of November is the day of dead, in which all the dead are honoured and revered, and people bring flowers to the cemeteries.
This year, Gianluigi Cassandra Law, Acli Uk (Italian Christian Workers Association) and the Anglo Italian Friendship Association celebrated the day in San Peter Square, Manchester, bringing flowers both to the cenotaph and to the Italian Comrades memorial.
Gianluigi Cassandra welcomed the British-Italian Councillor of Manchester, Mr Carmine Grimshaw, the President of Acli Uk Giannino D’Angelo, the secretary of PD of North of England dr. Giulia Sirigu and the other guests who attended the event.
